General Options:
Detect Google AMP and automatically load the canonical non-AMP link instead.
By default, Bypass AMP still allows the AMP viewer frame in a page. If you prefer to bypass both AMP links and the AMP viewer, switch from links to links and viewer in the popup menu.
Check clicked links for known link shorteners and find the unshortened destination URL in a separate process that protects your privacy and prevents tracking.
Hide annoying banners on some web pages prompting you to get the App Store app.
Warn when your typing or paste exceeds the maximum length of a password or input field, to prevent characters from getting silently lost.

Audio and Video Options:
Stop websites from hiding the native audio controls.

Show native controls for loop videos.

Show a button in the bottom left corner of the web page to toggle showing the native video controls.
Stop websites from autoplaying media.
On first play, automatically unmute videos and set volume to maximum.
Disallow all audio or video from ever playing on the page, even if you press the play button. Usually this option isn't necessary, because the option Stop autoplaying audio and video works well in most cases.
Set the default playback speed for audio and video.
1.0 is normal speed, 2.0 is double speed, 0.5 is half speed.
Stop all changes to your default playback speed, including manual changes.
This option isn't necessary unless the website resists your default playback speed.

YouTube Options:
Allow Picture-in-Picture even when Show native video controls is disabled.
Hides Shorts while scrolling on YouTube.
Automatically fast-forward through ads in YouTube videos when you play.
Show YouTube subtitles.
Automatically select YouTube video quality.

Dangerous Options:

Force all images to the front of the web page to allow contextual menus and dragging.
Stop websites from hijacking click events on links.
This option covers cases not already handled by Stop link trackers, such as same-site links.
Stop websites from hijacking mousedown and touchstart events.
This option may be needed to supplement Protect text selection.
Stop websites from hijacking focus and blur events.
Do not enable this unless instructed by support.
Stop websites from using the History API to manipulate the address bar URL and the browser back button.
Stop websites from preventing page zooming in and out via Safari's toolbar controls or the pinch gesture.

Stop the window.requestAnimationFrame() function that performs animation on web pages.
Stop the web page from zooming in when you put the focus in a text field and show the iOS software keyboard.

This option can prevent unwanted page updates.

Keyboard Options:
Hover over a link and press the ⌘X keyboard shortcut to copy the link title.
Hover over a link and press the ⌘C keyboard shortcut to copy the link URL.
Hover over a web page and press the ⌘X keyboard shortcut to copy the page title.
Hover over a web page and press the ⌘C keyboard shortcut to copy the page URL.
Show the title or URL in a popover when using the Copy on hover keyboard shortcuts.
Popovers require Safari version 17 or later.
Hover over a page element and press the ⌘⌫ keyboard shortcut to hide the element.
Stop websites from hijacking (command) ⌘-key shortcuts.
Stop websites from hijacking (option) ⌥-key shortcuts.
Stop websites from hijacking (control) ⌃-key shortcuts.
Stop websites from hijacking the arrow keys.

Tab Rules:

Override window.open:
Force window.open() to open a new tab rather than a popup window.
Stop websites from using window.open() to open a new window or tab.
This option is different and separate from the Force all links into same tab option, which deals with the target="_blank" API.
Show the URL from window.open() as a clickable link in a popover.
Popovers require Safari version 17 or later.
